Contact us for support with your Council Tax

Help is at hand for residents struggling to pay their Council Tax this Christmas.

Rising costs in food and fuel and the expenses of the festive season, coupled with the financial impact of the pandemic, means some residents are battling to pay their bills.

But Havant Borough Council has a host of ways to help residents manage their Council Tax and keep on top of their payments.

Cllr Alex Rennie, HBC Leader, said: “If you are struggling to pay Council Tax bills there are ways we can help you, depending on your personal circumstances. The important thing is that you come and talk to us.

“This time of year can be a real struggle for people but don’t suffer in silence. Have a look at our website or give us a call and you may find there is something we can do to help.

“Paying Council Tax is a legal responsibility and non-payment is a serious offence, so don’t ignore it. If you need support or advice get in touch with us now.”
