The new Corporate Strategy heads to Hayling

Havant Borough Council has created a new Corporate Strategy and we want to hear the views of our residents, partners, businesses and community groups.

The Leader of the Council, Councillor Alex Rennie, will be on hand to listen to what priorities are the most important to you on Saturday 12 November at Hayling Island Community Centre between 1pm and 4pm.

The corporate strategy defines the direction the council will take, and how all of its services will work towards agreed goals and aspirations. It helps the council work effectively and coherently, whilst allowing others to see the reasons behind the council’s work.

Providing an outline of all that the council wants to achieve, the Corporate Strategy offers three key aims; Wellbeing, Pride in place and Growth.

Councillor Alex Rennie said: "The Corporate Strategy is an important document laying out the council's agenda and we need your help to make sure we are heading in the right direction. I look forward to meeting our residents and listening to their thoughts.  It will be a great opportunity to share ideas and work together for the benefit of the borough's future.

“I recently visited Havant Town Centre to hear the views of residents and businesses there and would like to extend that opportunity to those living and working on Hayling Island.”
