Have your say on our new Corporate Strategy

Havant Borough Council has created a new Corporate Strategy and we want to hear the views of our residents, partners, businesses and community groups.

A corporate strategy defines the direction a council will take, and how all of its services will work towards agreed goals and aspirations. It helps the council work effectively and coherently, whilst clearly allowing others to see the reasons behind the council’s work.

Providing an outline of all that the council wants to achieve, the Corporate Strategy offers three key aims; Wellbeing, Pride in place and Growth.

We would like to know which priority is the most important to you. You can also tell us if you think we've missed something important.

A consultation event where you can have your say with the Leader of Havant Borough Council, Councillor Alex Rennie, will take place on Saturday 29 October, from 10am until 1pm, in the Meridian Centre, Havant.

Councillor Alex Rennie said: "The Corporate Strategy is an important document laying out the council's agenda and we need your help to make sure we are heading in the right direction. I look forward to meeting our residents’ and listening to their thoughts on our Corporate Strategy.  It will be a great opportunity to share ideas and work together for the benefit of the borough's future."

Alex Rennie will also be available to discuss the aspirations for the future of the borough at:

  • Hayling Island Community Centre on Saturday 12 November.

Anyone unable to attend these sessions can still share their thoughts by completing our online survey at www.havant.gov.uk/corporate-strategy
