Havant Borough Council will be hosting its first Dementia Festival, a free event giving people living with Dementia, their carers, friends, and families the opportunity to seek advice and support from local charities and organisations, on Friday 16 June from 10am to 2pm.
As well as a marketplace of stalls and information stands providing dementia-relevant support from organisations, a full programme of events will also be on offer at the Public Service Plaza, Civic Centre Road, Havant, PO9 2AX.
Activities sessions such as arts, crafts and poetry will be taking place as well as a live choir, and lots more. A full programme of events on the day can be found here.
Organisations taking part in the festival include Dementia Friendly Hants, Blue Lamp Trust, Home Instead Havant, Right at Home Havant, Hampshire County Council, Horizon Leisure Trust and The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre.
