Residents, businesses and the taxi and private hire trade are being asked to share their views on proposed updates to the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy.
Havant Borough Council is proposing the changes to ensure taxi passengers feel safe and secure, while those in the taxi trade are equipped to operate in a protected manner.
The new procedures will align the council’s policies with updated national guidance and best practice, as well as with our neighbouring authorities.

Havant Borough Council are working with Athletic Skills Model UK to provide an exciting update to the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at Bartons Green.
We are exploring how this space could be redeveloped into a Skills Garden - a welcoming, inclusive and active space that encourages people of all ages and abilities to move, play, learn, meet and enjoy being active.
