The council has identified the currently undeveloped area between Denvilles and Emsworth as having potential for a substantial development of around 2,100 homes together with community infrastructure including substantial open space, a primary school and a local centre. We are proposing to confirm this development allocation through the emerging Local Plan.

The landowner has appointed a preferred housebuilder, Bloor Homes, for the majority of the land. 

PLEASE NOTE that as of Summer 2025, Bloor have not yet made a planning application to the council.  While we are always interested to hear residents’ view, we therefore cannot formally register any comments received by residents at this time.  If you have views on the proposal which you would like to be considered formally through the planning process, you will need to make these once the planning application is received.
