The council has identified the currently undeveloped area between Denvilles and Emsworth as having potential for a substantial development of around 2,100 homes together with community infrastructure including substantial open space, a primary school and a local centre. We are proposing to confirm this development allocation through the emerging Local Plan.
The landowner has appointed a preferred housebuilder, Bloor Homes, for the majority of the land. In the summer of 2026, Bloor Homes made an outline planning application to develop parts of the site. The details can be found on our Public Access Portal for Applications, under reference APP/26/00324.
