Seven lucky winners

Havant Borough Community Lottery has announced a winner of £250 in this week’s draw, along with six other cash prizes being won.

The lucky £250 winner, from Waterlooville, who supports Havant Youth Sail Training Scheme (HYSTS), matched just four numbers in Saturday’s draw

Six other players of the Havant Borough Community Lottery matched three numbers to win their prize of £25.

Havant Borough Council’s Cabinet lead for Affordable Housing, Communities and CIL, Councillor Gwen Robinson, said: “I am delighted we have had so many winners in one week. Congratulations to them all – I would also like to thank them for being part of the Havant Borough Community Lottery, helping to raise funds for their local good causes.

“Charities have been severely impacted by the effects of the pandemic and desperately need to raise more funds, which makes the role of Havant Borough Council’s Community Lottery more important than ever.

“I would urge more people to sign up and play the lottery. It only costs £1 a week and you could benefit your favourite chosen charity and have the chance to win a £25,000 jackpot!”

The Havant Borough Community Lottery was set up and managed by Havant Borough Council, the lottery helps not-for-profit organisations to raise funds for valuable community services.
