Havant Borough Council is proud to support Fairtrade Fortnight, joining communities across the UK in championing fairer trade and helping to ensure producers in lower-income countries receive a fair price for the goods they grow and make.
Fairtrade Fortnight (Monday 21 September – Sunday 4 October), highlights the positive impact that everyday purchasing decisions can have on farmers, workers and their families, and reinforces the council’s commitment to sustainability, ethical procurement and supporting a more equitable global economy.
As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, various events will be taking place across the borough. Why not come along, meet new people, and show your support for Fairtrade goods.
