Residents in the Borough of Havant will have the chance to elect representatives to their wards on 7 May 2026. The notice of election has been published, and we are now accepting candidate nominations by appointment for every ward in the borough.
Elections will also be held for seven divisions of Hampshire County Council within the borough.
A full list of candidates for both elections will be published by 4pm on Friday 10 April.
Poll cards are currently being delivered, you may also have received an email from us with an electronic version.
The information on the poll card will inform you where your polling station will be to cast your vote at.
You will only receive a poll card if you are registered to vote.
If you can’t get to the polling station on Thursday 7 May you can apply for a postal vote. It’s quick, secure and ensures your voice is heard wherever you are.
The postal vote application deadline is 5pm on Tuesday 21 April.
