Apply now for Warmer Homes funding of up to £10,000 per property

Homeowners in the borough of Havant receiving a means-tested benefit - or with a household income under £30,000 - could be eligible for up to £10,000 of energy saving home improvements thanks to the Warmer Homes initiative.

Havant Borough Council is a partner in Warmer Homes, a programme funded by the Government’s Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery & Home Upgrade Grant schemes. 

Funding is provided for those who own or privately rent their homes and have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E or lower; The funding can cover the cost of energy efficiency products such as:

•Solid Wall Insulation

•Cavity Wall Insulation

•Underfloor Insulation

•Loft Insulation

•Room-in-Roof Insulation

•Air Source Heat Pump

•Solar PV Panels

•Park Home Insulation

•High Heat Retention Storage Heaters

•Heating Controls

Councillor Elizabeth Lloyd - Cabinet Lead for Local Plan, Environment and Water Quality - said "The council recognises the pressures residents are under to heat their homes in the face of increasing costs. The funding that Warmer Homes provides will not only help residents reduce heating costs in the short term, but secure long-term improvements for their homes and help address climate change. I urge all those eligible for this government funding to apply before the scheme ends."

Warmer Homes funding is time-limited and offered on a first-come, first-served offer. The scheme ends on 31 March 2023.
