Consultation on New Street Trading Policy

The Council is in the process of adopting the relevant provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 in relation to street trading consent, and designating all streets in the Borough as ‘consent streets.’ The Council intends to adopt a street trading policy in respect of applications, decision-making and enforcement. The draft policy was considered at a meeting of the Licensing Committee held on 26 June 2023 before being approved for public consultation.

The Council is consulting on the proposed policy for a period of four weeks. Please send written representations to, or to Licensing Team Leader,  Havant Borough Council, Public Service Plaza, Civic Centre Road, Havant, PO9 2AX by 10 October 2023.
