Get Up and Go offers a range of fun and sociable physical activities for residents aged 55 and over.
We currently have a variety of online and outdoor activities and classes for you to try, including Pilates, Yoga, Coastal Rowing, and Fun Fitness. All activities are to be taken at your own pace, and all classes are running in accordance with the latest coronavirus government guidance.
The Get Up and Go project is split into three sections:
- Get set
A chance to find out more and to talk about physical activity - this is your chance to ‘get set’ and think about having a go at something new, active and outdoors!
- Get moving
Take your first steps into activity. This is your chance to ‘get moving’ and trying that new activity in a friendly and supportive environment.
- Keep moving
Continue your active life - this is your chance to ‘keep moving’ and have a go at some more adventurous activities that you may not have tried before.
