Roadmap out of lockdown

The UK government has confirmed that England will move to step 4 of the roadmap on Monday 19 July. The government will continue to manage the risk of serious illness from the spread of the virus and some key protections will stay in place.

Coronavirus business support

The government has set out a range of support schemes for businesses to help them during the coronavirus outbreak.

Havant Borough Council will lead on the administration of some grants and business rate relief. Other support can be accessed through the HMRC, the British Business Bank and the Bank of England.

There is also a lot of information on the government’s business support hub.

Our Economic Development Team provides a range of support services for businesses in the borough and those wishing to move into the area.

Together with their partners, they offer advice and support to encourage growth and investment in the borough.
