Statement of accounts

At the end of each financial year, all councils have to publish a Statement of Accounts in line with the set statutory deadline. Publishing our accounts is a key step in our commitment to transparency and accountability. These documents provide a detailed overview of our financial activities and performance, allowing residents and stakeholders to see how public funds are managed and allocated. 

These accounts are subject to audit by external auditors appointed by Public Sector Audit Appointments (PSAA). The extent of the audit is determined by statute.
