To have your waste and recycling collected, you will need to provide the correct bins. You will need:

  • a 240 litre black lidded refuse bin
  • a 240 litre green lidded recycling bin

The rubbish and recycling bins are owned by the resident, if your bin is lost, stolen or damaged then you will need to pay for a replacement bin, unless the bin has been damaged during the emptying process.

Bins cost £53.35 each (delivery included) and can be purchased over the phone by calling our Customer Services Team on 023 9244 6010.

New bin orders will be delivered with in 10 working days.

Your bins are your property, keep them safe from theft by placing your house number or post code on them and by returning them to your property as soon as possible after emptying.

Too much to put in your bins?

If you regularly have too much recycling, you can purchase an additional recycling bin.

If there are five or more permanent residents at your property, or you have qualifying medical reasons, we may be able to authorise an additional 140 litre refuse bin.

Our partners, Norse South East, will visit your property and carry out an assessment for the additional bin. If approved you will need to purchase the second bin by calling Customer Services on 023 9244 6010.
