Havant Borough Council is now offering a new Direct Debit payment scheme to help drivers in the borough pay for long-term parking permits.
The Direct Debit scheme is available for motorists who are purchasing six-month and 12-month parking permits in the borough's pay and display car parks.
Councillor Alex Rennie, Havant Borough Council’s Leader, said: "Introducing this new way to pay for our long-term parking permits will help our residents and those who work in the borough to spread the initial cost.
"Setting up a Direct Debit agreement is an easy and convenient way to pay."
Permits valid for six months will be paid over five Direct Debit payments, with 12 month permits being spread over a 10 month period.
Three-month parking permits or permits purchased via the RingGo App are to be paid in full at the time of purchase.
