There is a range of support available to local businesses during the coronavirus pandemic. Below is information on grants and other places that you can find support.
Local restrictions support grant (LRSG) - 16 February to 31 March
If your business has been affected by the local restrictions imposed by government, then you may be entitled to the local restrictions support grant.
The restart grant is a mandatory grant to support non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses.
A single grant will be paid to each eligible business.
Current round of additional restrictions grant
The additional restrictions grant is aimed at businesses that are not eligible for a restart grant but are significantly affected by COVID-19 restrictions.
This additional fund is aimed at businesses with ongoing fixed costs.
Coronavirus job retention scheme
The coronavirus job retention scheme has been extended until 30 September 2021.
Workers in any part of the UK can retain their job, even if their employer cannot afford to pay them, and be paid at least 80% of their salary up to £2,500 a month.
