The Blue Flag is now back up and flying at Hayling Island.
It was taken down temporarily because of 'non-compliance' issues. These have all been addressed and Keep Britain Tidy was happy for the flag to be back up in time for the weekend.
Cllr Gary Hughes, Cabinet Lead for Commercial Services, said: "I am grateful to Keep Britain Tidy for alerting us to the non-compliance issues that they identified during the recent visit, which resulted in us temporarily lowering the Blue Flag.
"Although some issues were identified the considerable majority of the criteria for flying a Blue Flag, including water quality were met.
"All of the areas that required attention have been addressed and rectified, ensuring that we once again are fully compliant."
