A support system for local sport is looking for new organisations to join an alliance.
The Sport and Physical Activity Alliance (SPAA) works to grow and enhance sport and exercise at all levels across the borough.
The SPAA is comprised of sporting, health and fitness bodies that take a collaborative approach to improving participation, increasing physical activity and securing funding.
Havant Borough Council, which co-ordinates the group, is looking for new members to take part.
Cllr Gwen Robinson, Havant Borough Council’s Cabinet Lead for Housing, Communities and CIL, said: “The SPAA is all about working collaboratively to provide a support system for sport and physical activity in the borough of Havant.
“We are working in partnership with like-minded organisations to help secure funding and encourage participation in all levels of physical activity.
“The meetings, held quarterly, are great opportunities to step back, see the big picture and tackle issues faced across the physical activity spectrum.”
Organisations ideal for the SPAA are regional and national sporting associations, health bodies, charities, facilities and those who have a professional role to play in enabling physical activity.
