With the borough of Havant now under Tier Four restrictions, a number of grants are now available to support businesses dealing with the impact of coronavirus.

Grants are available to businesses required by law to close as a result of the Tier Four restrictions that were introduced in the borough of Havant on 20 December 2020.
Previous applicants for local restrictions support grants in November 2020 do not need to apply, and will receive automatic payment.
Grants are available to businesses required by law to close as a result of the previous tier two restrictions that were in place in the borough of Havant from 2-18 December 2020.
Grants are available to pubs that derive less than 50% of their income from food sales and meet the scheme criteria.
Grant funding distributed by councils to support closed businesses that do not directly pay business rates as well as businesses that do not have to close but which are adversely impacted by coronavirus. Covering income from 20 December, businesses that cannot access a Tier Four local restrictions support grant can apply.
Local restrictions support grant (covering 5 November to 2 December 2020)
Grants are available to businesses forced to close in November as a result of national coronavirus restrictions. This scheme is still open to new applicants.
Throughout coronavirus restrictions, Havant Borough Council has comprehensively helped businesses adapt to these difficult conditions. In the November lockdown, the council has successfully provided so far 479 grants to businesses totalling £726,248 of support, £53,516 of funding through the Additional Restrictions Grant for closed businesses that do not directly pay business rates as well as open businesses adversely impacted by the last lockdown. Tier Four funding is being rolled out to best ensure essential financial support is accessed before the end of the year, and is expected to exceed £360,000 in total.
