Flexible smarter working patterns A traditional 9am-5pm working pattern may not be for everyone, so we offer lots of different types of working patterns - subject to role and business need. (e.g. Part-time, job-sharing, flexi-time scheme, compressed hours and home-working). Flexi-time scheme We have a generous flexi-time scheme in place for all grades (up to Head of Service level). This means that you are able to take up to 2 days per month of flexi-leave if you accrue the time - subject to business needs. This is a contributory pension scheme based on earnings, however, the Council also contributes generously to the scheme.
