10.00am – 11.00am A FREE 40-minute discussion including topics such as Wills, money, and power of attorney followed by a question and answer session by Irwin Mitchell Solicitors.
11:00am -11.30am A 30-minute Dementia talk from a Lead Admiral Nurse working in the Dementia Support Team followed by an open question and answer session from Havant and Waterlooville Primary Care Network.
12.00 - 12.30pm Lunch
12.45 - 13.45 Free Defibrillator awareness session  to show people how to use the equipment which could save a life demonstrated by Rosy Raines.

Hollybank room

10.00am – 11.30am Creative Memory Café, Arts and Crafts - inspired by the wonderful colours and smells of summer gardens, experiment with paint pens and water marbling. Creative memory café offers sensory, multimedia sessions which focus on collaborative making and chat - delivered by The Spring.
11.30am – 12pm Living with Dementia talk by John Jacques. John has been married to Pam for 49 years and spent his career working for Southern Gas Networks until he was medically retired at the age of 64 years, with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment. He enjoys playing golf, creating stained glass sun catchers, and visiting a local college where he gives this talk about living with Dementia to medical students.
12.00 - 12.30pm Lunch in the Tournerbury Room
12.30pm - 1.15pm Performance by the Memory Choir. The memory choir aim to bring joy through music to those living with Dementia, their family and friends and carers.
1.15pm - 2:00pm Creative Connections Poetry Workshop - Please share a few words to hang on the 'Poet Tree of Kind' about something kind or useful someone has said or done for you recently. Contributions throughout the day will help us form a collaborative community poem inspired by the poem 'If' by Rudyard Kipling.

 

Newlease room:

10.30am-11.30am Get Up and Go - Boccia and New Age Curling. A fun session suitable for all to introduce to the game of Boccia and New Age Curling.
12.00 - 12.30pm Lunch in the Tournerbury Room
12:30pm - 1.00pm Horizon Leisure Centre – Falls prevention Taster. Exercises to help maintain strength and balance and help reduce the risk of falling, great for increasing confidence and independence.
1.00pm - 2.00pm Home Instead - ‘Love to Move’. Home Instead - Naomi Lloyd - ‘Love to Move’ 1.00pm - 2.00pm
The Love to Move Programme is an age and Dementia friendly seated gymnastics programme which is transforming the lives of people living with Dementia.
