Graffiti

Graffiti is an unwanted and anti-social demand on residents and businesses. Havant Borough Council sympathises with the problems it causes, and is actively working in partnership with a number of organisations to help reduce instances in the borough. 

Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the land-owner to remove graffiti within the borough. Dependent on where (or what) has been defaced, the following contacts are recommended to report the issue:

• Report issues with graffiti on BT (Openreach) street cabinets or call 0800 023 2023
• Report graffiti on BT public payphones email customer.serv.payphones@bt.com and include the telephone number and location of the phone box, nature of the issue and your contact details
• Report graffiti on bus shelters (structure) to JC Decaux
• Report graffiti on bus shelters (advertising panels) to ClearChannel or call 0800 731 3699
• Report graffiti on electrical structures to SSE email SHE.external@sse.com or call 0800 048 3516
• Report graffiti on the highway or highway structures to Hampshire County Council - email roads@hants.gov.uk
