Havant Borough Council is replacing three bridges at Hampshire Farm Meadows.

The existing timber bridges have reached the end of their life and need to be replaced to keep this important route through the open space safe and accessible.

Work starts 21 September 2026 and will take approximately 4 weeks.

The new bridges will be:

  • Long-lasting, with a lifespan of more than 75 years
  • Safe and slip-resistant for everyone using the area
  • Made from recycled materials
  • Designed with a natural-looking finish that blends into the surrounding environment.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we make these improvements.
