Your bin collection day will change
During the Christmas and New Year holidays household bin collections will change days.
Havant Borough Council has partnered with GeniePoint to provide three electric vehicle charge-points in the borough, enabling residents and visitors to charge quickly and efficiently on the go.
The 50kW rapid charge points, with dates of installation are:
The council is also working with Hampshire County Council to plan the next phase of charge-points.
Free parking applies while charging only.
Non-electric vehicles are not permitted to park within the bays at any time.
Once charged, your vehicle must be moved from the car park or re-parked within a marked parking bay and a valid pay and display ticket purchased, or a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued.
Electric vehicle drivers should take note of the charger tariff posted on each charge-point, which may change from time to time: the facility is operated by Geniepoint.
