Community Infrastructure Levy Monitoring

Regulation 62 of the CIL Regulations (as amended) sets out the reporting requirements for CIL.

The figures recordable under Regulation 62 are often published as part of the Planning Policy Annual Monitoring Report (AMR). For ease of reference the CIL Monitoring Figures are replicated below. The most recent figures are available are for 2019 (monitoring period: 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019).

The 2020 CIL Monitoring figures (for the monitoring period 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020) will be published before the end of December 2020.

The Regulation 123 List

Before the 1 September 2019, The Regulations restricted the use of planning obligations so there is no duplication between projects funded by CIL and those which are subject to S106 obligations.

The council’s ‘Regulation 123 List’ sets out the infrastructure which may be wholly or partly funded by the levy.

The council cannot seek a planning obligation for infrastructure that is on this list.

The Regulation 123 List has been left on the council website, until this information is incorporated within an 'Infrastructure Funding Statement', which amongst other items will include CIL Annual Monitoring.

The deadline for the production of this document has been set by the government as being the end of 2020.
