Parking outside or in the vicinity of home is sometimes a problem, particularly where parking is limited. In these circumstances blue badge holders can apply for a disabled parking bay to be marked outside their property to assist in movement to and from the vehicle.
Please note that a disabled parking bay is available for use by any blue badge holder and is not reserved for the sole use of any one person.
There is currently no charge for this service and bay markings are provided free of charge.
How to apply
- Complete the online application form.
- Download and complete a copy of the application form and return it to the address provided on the form.
- Contact our Customer Service Centre to request an application form be posted to you for completion and return.
Once your application is received you will be contacted by an officer to arrange a visit to your property, if necessary, to discuss your application.
You will be informed in writing if your application is approved or the reason for your application’s refusal.
If your application is approved it can take between 8-10 weeks for the marking to be installed by our contractor.
