A new cashless payment system is now available in all council pay and display car parks across the Borough of Havant allowing drivers to pay by mobile phone. In rolling out the RingGo system, we hope to make life easier for customers who use the council’s car parks, particularly around the popular summer destination spot, Hayling Island.
No ticket is needed. The Civil Enforcement Officeer will look up your vehicle registration number on their handheld. This will check on the back office system to make sure you have parked using RingGo.

Yes. If you are due to arrive at the car park before the charging period begins you can still use the RingGo service to pay for your parking.
No. We could not guarantee that a parking space would be available upon your arrival.
You should not receive a Penalty Charge Notice for failing to purchase a pay and display ticket when using the RingGo service. However, if for any reason this happens, we can check that payment was made before the Penalty Charge Notice was issued, when an appeal is received.
