Events in the Borough
Youth Disco
SNAP (Say No and Phone) discos are a fun and safe event for
young people in school years 7 – 11. Every disco has a different
fun theme and young people are encouraged to come to the event in
costume.
Each event at Havant Leisure Centre on the last Saturday of the
month is supported by Horizon Leisure Trust, Hampshire Constabulary
and Havant Borough Council and is run in conjunction with
Crimestoppers, meaning it is a drug, cigarette and alcohol free
zone.
As well as the Main Hall disco, young people can also access the
Play Centre and test their skills on the Nintendo Wii on the large
10ft screen in the café.
Tickets are available from Havant and Waterlooville Leisure
Centres, ASDA (Havant) and Static Fusion (Hayling Island). Tickets
cost £5.50 and are available to purchase until 17.30 on the day of
the event. The disco starts at 19.00 and finishes at 22.30.
