Your Community Centre
Fifth in our series featuring community centres is
Waterlooville Community Centre
run by Waterlooville Area Community Association, a registered
charity.
The Community Centre was built in 1974 and is situated in Asda
Car Park, Waterlooville. It is open Monday – Saturday 9.00am –
11.30pm and holds a varied selection of interesting activities for
all ages and abilities.
The centre’s Main Hall can accommodate up to 150 people and also
boasts a Function Room for up to 80 people as well as activity and
meeting rooms and a well-run licensed bar. In addition there is a
cafeteria run by “Café Verano” which is open daily and also
specialises in catering for functions.
All this is done with the support of Havant Borough Council and
a dedicated team of committee members, office and caretaking staff.
