Community Information
Havant Borough Council’s Citizens’ Panel
Take the opportunity to get your voice heard…
Over 900 new members have been recruited to Havant’s Citizens’
Panel. The panel was first set up in 1999 and will regularly be
refreshed to ensure that membership is representative of the local
community.
The council is committed to providing services based on customer
needs and expectations so that it can improve the level of services
it provides for the community and its customers. The first
consultation of this year looked at arts, heritage, sport and
libraries in the local area.
However we still need new members in the younger age groups,
from 18 to 30, to get involved and join the panel.
You will need to answer up to four questionnaires a year, which
can be sent to you through the post or via email. If you would like
to join and get your voice heard, please contact Beth Manwaring on
023 9244 6629 or visit the Citizen

25 years of support for Havant families
Home-Start Havant is a voluntary organisation that supports
families with young children in the Borough of Havant. They offer
personalised one-to-one support in the family’s own home, helping
parents give their children the best start in life.
This year Home-Start will be celebrating 25 years of supporting
families in the Havant area. To help them celebrate they would like
to hear from anybody who has had connections with them over the
years, whether you have helped a family or been a Home-Start family
yourself.
If you would like to know more about Home-Start or about how to
become a volunteer please contact 023 9224 1234 or visit the
