The Traffic Management Act 2004 (Part 6)
TMA
From the 31st March 2008, section 6 of the
TMA
2004 came into force. This
meant that Havant Borough Council had to introduce a new system for
Penalty Charge Notices (
PCN
) that relate to the seriousness
of the contravention. These charges have been set nationally by the
Secretary of State.
One of the main changes is the change of name for Parking
Attendants. They are now known as Civil Enforcement Officers
(
CEO
).
There has been no change to the uniform colour or
style.
This details the new charging bands for the Penalty Charge Notices. The higher penalty and the lower penalty. Includes details of the contraventions.
