Help the borough to bloom in 2008
Havant Borough Council will once again be entering the South
& South East in Bloom competition and would like your help.
Following last year’s success, when the borough received a
Silver Gilt award in the category Large Town/Small City, together
with the award of Best Environmental Initiative in the Southern
Region, the Open Space Development Team is very keen to get the
residents of the borough more involved in the entry for 2008.
If you know of an overgrown green space that has been
transformed by local residents or you have an area in mind that you
and other like-minded residents could improve, please let us
know.
We will be able to give advice and guidance on how to put
together an entry for the categories of Small Neighbourhood, Small
Urban Community and Village Awards for you.
