STRETCHED LIMOS AND VINTAGE/CLASSIC/NICHE CARS
Stretched limos and vintage/classic/niche vehicles* were
previously licensed by
VOSA
and exempt from
licensing regulations and Section 75 (1)(b) of the Local Government
(Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 governing the above
was repealed in January 2008.
Since then, any drivers, operators and vehicles providing
stretched limos with 8 passenger seats or less or
vintage/classic/niche vehicles are required to
become licensed by Havant Borough Council. The only
exemptions continue to be vehicles used solely for weddings and
funerals.

*vintage/classic are vehicles over 30 years old and
niche vehicles incorporates fire engines, ambulances,
replica vintage vehicles and other like restricted design of
vehicle.
