Code for Sustainable Homes
Find more information on the Code for Sustainable Homes which is
a new national standard for sustainable design and construction of
new homes.
e-Consultation
Find more information about the e-Consultation Hub which is
being developed by the Planning Portal and is funded by CLG. This
internet-based service will launch in Spring 2008 and will manage
the exchange of documents and messages about planning consultations
between participants in the planning process.

Planning Casework Service
Information on the Planning Casework Service, which is developed
and managed by the Planning Inspectorate - the government agency
that runs the appeals process in England and Wales.
Plans
You can use the Portal to identify local planning information
for a development site. This includes local authority information
and planning restraints. If the local authority is working with the
Planning Portal you may also be able to submit planning
applications to the authority electonically.
Research
The Policy and Research section provides access to the chief
planning legislation produced by the government as well as
planning research documents, reports and statistics.
Resources
The Planning Portal marketing department has developed marketing
resources, engagement strategies and presentations, which are made
available as useful tools in this section.
Study
This section aims to help people to teach or learn about town
and country planning at all levels and in all types of
education.
