Supplementary Planning Documents (
SPD
) form part of the
Local Development Framework (
LDF
). They may cover a
range of issues (thematic or site specific) which provide
further details to policies in Development Plan Documents
(
DPD
). They will not
go through independent examination but will be subject to
community consultation.

The purpose of the Urban Design Framework is to set out design principles for the development of Havant Town Centre. It has been adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document under the Local Development Scheme.
