Landscape Volunteer Groups
The Urban Design and Landscape Team maintain a good relationship
with several Landscape Volunteer Groups in the borough. We have
featured some areas of their work and their contact details
below.
Gazebo Garden, Havant:
The
Gazebo Garden is a beautiful listed building in Havant
Town Centre. The Conservation group help maintain the garden for
Havant Borough Council. The group do a range of work including
weeding, pruning and planting new shrubs when needed. In the past
Havant Borough Council have provided some tools, ordered new
plants and organised the hard works maintenance whilst the green
waste is collected by our recycling teams.
Brook Meadow, Emsworth
Brook Meadow has now been designated as a Local Nature
Reserve.
The meadow is accessed from the southern end of Palmers Road
Public Car Park (off north Street) in Emsworth. To find out

Hollybank Woods (Southleigh Forest),
Emsworth

The woods are accessed at several points in the area North of
Emsworth. The woods are home to a wealth of habitats and offer

On the coast at Emsworth, Nore Barn Woods offers woodland and
coastal walks overlooking Chichester Harbour. To contact the local

Park Wood is a small area of semi-natural ancient woodland in
