Employment Studies
The Employment Land Review (ELR) is the main evidence based study on employment for the borough. It assesses the demand for and supply of employment land up to 2026 to enable appropriate policies to be established in the Havant Borough LDF. The updated and revised ELR was published in 2010 to meet the requirements of the PUSH Employment Floorspace Policy Framework and to take into account the effects of the recession.

The Property Market Review assesses the overall quality of existing business sites and industrial estates across the Borough, and finds out from companies based in the Borough what their future accommodation needs are likely to be.
This 2006 study produced by the University of Portsmouth identifies and defines business clusters in South Hampshire. Section 3 relates to the borough, setting out the main clusters by size and concentration
