Be part of a winning team
Havant Borough Youth Council (
HBYC
) was launched in its
present form in February 2002 for young people who live, work or
learn within the Borough of Havant, aged 11-21.
The youth council gives a voice to young people, giving them the
opportunity to raise issues that concern them. Meetings are held
every month with elected area representatives from across the
borough together with an executive committee.

It’s not all meetings though! Socials, trips and training are
always part of the programme as well. In April the youth council
visited Lodge Hill Activity Centre for a residential weekend and
took part in activities such as climbing, abseiling and the leap of
faith.
HBYC
is always
looking for new members to join, so if you, or anyone you know, is
interested then please get in contact with support workers Donna on
0781 549 8426 or Jacky on 0793 082 1733.
Alternatively you can visit the recently awarded “Best Young
Person's Website 2007” 'Youthbeat' for more

HBYC
is
supported by Havant Borough Council and Hampshire
County Youth Service.
