Potentially Requiring Regulation
If you operate, or plan to set up a business activity within
Havant Borough falling within the categories listed below, you
should check the regulations, or contact the pollution team staff
to see if you will require a permit.

Directive: Any activity using significant quantities of
organic solvents, including Dry Cleaners.

Not all processes (even if they fall within the categories
above) will require a permit – this is largely dependent upon the
scale and / or capacity of the activity. Full details of the
