Updating & Screening Assessment ( USA ) forms a key part of the Local Air Quality Management system, providing details of the sources & distribution of atmospheric pollutants within Havant Borough.
The Review process reports on pollutant modelling and distribution mapping, for all pollutants identified in the National Air Quality Strategy ( NAQS ); including:
Ozone ( O3 ) is not considered specifically as it is less influenced by local sources than the above pollutants, instead being subject to more regional influences. Consequently, O3 assessment is considered to be beyond the scope of both the available environmental information, and local level control.
