The Emsworth Heritage Project has been established to ensure the long term preservation of the "Terror", to establish a heritage trail in the village and to develop educational resources related to Emsworth;'s maritime heritage.
The Museum, opened in1988, was formed to archive and display the history of Emsworth and its surroundings, to make the public aware of Emsworth's historical position. The Museum is entirely run by volunteers, and has a selection of the area's history displayed in articles, books, pictures, clothing ships models.
