The aim of the ‘In Bloom’ competition is for communities to make lasting improvements to their neighbourhood. The competition not only focuses on horticultural enthusiasm, but also looks for community involvement, with special interest being paid to seasonal planting, conservation, recycling, and initiatives to reduce litter, graffiti and vandalism.
