Havant Borough Council does not have it's own stock
of Council Housing, or Social Housing as it is more commonly
referred.
The Council transferred its housing stock to a
local housing association in 1994. Since then, Havant
Borough Council has supported a development programme
which has produced over 1500 new housing association homes in
the last 15 years.
In partnership with Havant Borough Council, East Hants
District Council, Test Valley Borough Council and Winchester City
Council we manage a Choice Based Letting Scheme for allocating
all Social Housing. This is known as Hampshire Home
Choice.
