The Council is responsible for looking after what is loosely
termed as the 'public realm' - highways, open space, parks and so
on.
Maintenance of bus shelters, new shelters, moving shelters, advice regarding bus stops etc.
Fly posting (unauthorised display of advertisements) is antisocial and may create distractions for road users and a poor sense of community ownership for others
Graffitti is antisocial and undermines a sense of pride in the surroundings
We carry out grass cutting in many parts of the Borough, some of it paid for by Hampshire County Council, with extra 'cuts' paid by Havant Council.
The council can take action to ensure that overhanging vegetation (especially hedges) does not cause a safety hazard
Hampshire County Council are responsible for maintaining street lighting across the Borough. Use this page for more information and to report faults.
The Council provides 21 public conveniences at locations across the Borough. There is an ongoing programme of refurbishment and redevelopment.
The Borough has a number of notice boards at various sites around the borough, which are available for members of the public to advertise events and information
