Achoired Taste
This popular adult choir (aged 18+ years)
rehearses weekly at Horndean Junior School and performs at local
events.
Their repertoire includes songs from
shows, pop tunes and musical fables. No auditions are
required just a love and enthusiasm for singing. For further

Angel Radio
Angel Radio is a unique
not-for-profit radio service that provides uplifting
nostalgic entertainment 24-hours a day for older people who live in
the Borough of Havant. Based in Market Parade, Havant; Angel
Radio can be heard on 101.1MHz FM, manned by
volunteers who keep the station running 24 hours a day seven
days a week.
Bench Theatre
An award-winning non-professional group
committed to producing quality drama. The company is more
than 35 years old and is based at Havant Arts Centre.

Dynamo Youth Theatre
Dynamo Youth Theatre is a performance-based
theatre group, using the facilities of the
Havant Arts Centre,
providing drama, music and dance experience for young people aged
between 11 and 18.
Emsworth Community Singers
This mixed voice development choir is open
to new members, of all ages and abilities. The current
membership is 15 to 20 and increasing. With music to suit
all tastes and styles, there is the opportunity to learn and
progress and sing for pleasure and performance. The group meet
weekly on Wednesday 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. at International
House, Pastoral Centre, Emsworth. No audition is required. No

Hampshire Guitar Orchestra (hago)
One of only a few true guitar orchestras, hago
is made up of amateur guitarists from
Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex who play four different sizes of
guitar: hago concerts always include a huge variety of styles,
from Early to Pop, from Classical to
Jazz, from Stage to Film.
hago runs a Youth Scheme offering opportunities
for 16-21 year olds to rehearse with the
orchestra and play some of their concerts. hago also welcome
applications from players
over 21 to join them permanently.
Havant Camera Club
Havant Camera Club caters for people of all
ages and levels of experience who have an interest in photography.
Club evenings cover all aspects of photography including digital
imaging with lectures, guest speakers, competitions and club
outings.
Havant and District Writers Circle
The Havant & District Writers' Circle meet
on the twice a month at the Havant Arts Centre. The Circle aim to
provide a balanced programme which caters for the needs of all
members, whether fiction or non-fiction writers, published or just
beginning their writing careers. If you enjoy meeting other
people with an interest in writing, the Circle provides a friendly
and supportive environment in which to develop your talent. Writers
of all ages and experience are welcome.

Havant Light Opera
Havant Light Opera was formed in 1978 to
perform the works of Gilbert and Sullivan. The company also
performs choral music and light opera by other composers and
undertakes two performances per year.
Havant Orchestras
Havant Symphony Orchestra and Havant Chamber
Orchestra were established in the 1960’s and are made up of a mix
of professional and gifted amateur players, they perform regularly
at Ferneham Hall in Fareham; the main season comprises of 6
concerts each year.
Havant Youth Choir (HYC)
Havant Youth Choir (aged 11-18 years) rehearse
weekly at Horndean Junior School and perform at local events.
Their repertoire includes hits by Robbie Williams, Westlife, John
Lennon and many more. No auditions are required just an enjoyment

Hayling Arts Forum
The Hayling Arts Forum are a group of
artists who meet regularly and paint in a variety of media and
styles including oil painting, watercolour and contemporary
abstract painting. For inspiration and they frequently visit a
range of galleries both here in the UK and in Europe. For more

Hayling Island Amateur Dramatics Society (HIADS)
HIADS, based at Station Theatre, produces six
shows a year and is always looking for new actors and members to
help with front of house duties and backstage tasks such as
scenery, props, wardrobe, lighting, sound and general
maintenance.
Hayling Musical Society
Established in 1959, the group aims to keep
things relaxed and fun. Hayling Musical Society produces two
shows a year and brings a varied selection of musical theatre to

Hole in the Wall Group
Emsworth based community studio workshop,
founded in 1971, which runs weekly sessions for adult beginners and
provides facilities for more experienced amateur potters and
ceramic artists. Open to the community and new members, the
group is very active with about 25-30 members of mixed ability
concentrating on the ceramic arts, such as pottery, sculpture and

HumDrum
Formed in 1992, HumDrum is an innovative and
experimental theatre company that aims to bring under-performed
works into the area; to present familiar works in a new or unusual
manner and to develop the artistic skills of its
members.
Renaissance Choir
The choir was established in 1976, to sing primarily Renaissance
music. Since then the choir has established a reputation for high
quality performances of both Renaissance and more modern music,
mostly unaccompanied, and frequently in eight part harmony.
The group rehearse at Emsworth Community Centre and sing locally at
least 3 times a year.
Singing For Health
Singing is good for your heart, mind and soul! Improve your
breathing with vocal exercises. Relax and enjoy the benefits of a
good old sing with Janet Ayers, Natural Voice Practitioner. A
chance to improve your voice, learn something new and above all
have fun. All songs are taught by ear so no need to read music.

The classes are open to all, including families with teenagers
and children over 8 years old.1st & 3rd Mondays of the
month at Waterlooville Baptist Church, 368 London Road,

Solent Guild of Woodcarvers and Sculptors
A voluntarily run Guild, founded in 1978, for
people interested in carving, whittling and sculpting. Styles
and methods are varied and the majority of members are amateurs,
who find this art form a challenging and satisfying
hobby.
UVG (Havant Young Peoples Vocal Group)
UVG offer a local opportunity
for young people aged 12 -
19 to access professional vocal support, develop
skills and ultimately feel part of a unique singing
community.
Sessions are held every
Monday evening at Bedhampton Social Hall between 5:30 and
7:00pm. If you are interested in becoming part of the group,
open workshops are held on the last Monday of each month. Thanks to
funding by the Youth Opportunities Fund and support
from Music Fusion and Havant Borough Council, the sessions are
free. UVG will be gigging around the Havant area in the very near
