Introduction to the Sports
Guide
Welcome...
...to the 2006 Sports Guide produced by the Directorate of
Community Services at Havant Borough Council. The guide aims to
provide details of sports groups and facilities in the Borough
and details over 100 clubs covering a wide range of sports, so
please contact them if you want to join their activities or need
advice - they will be happy to help you.
By listening to and working with
many local clubs, groups, the Havant Borough Sports Council
and Sport England, we will continue
to develop services for sport and improve the social wellbeing and
culture of the borough. If you run a club or organisation which is
not featured in this guide, or you would like to start one, we
would like to hear from you.
For further information or advice on anything in this Guide
please call a member of the Sports Development Team. We hope you
find all the information you need to enhance your sporting future
in the Havant Borough.
