Planning Training Events - 27 February and 27 September 2006

 
To encourage local community groups to get involved in the planning system, Havant Borough Council, in conjunction with Planning Aid, organised two planning training events.
 
A total of 68 people, including representatives from Community Boards, Residents Associations and Havant Borough Councillors, attended the two events on 27 February and 27 September 2006.
 
Presentations were given by Planning Aid covering a range of planning issues including;
 
  • the changes to the planning system;
  • how to make effective representations on planning applications;
  • planning appeals;
  • permitted development;
  • the Use Classes Order.
Planning Aid are run by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and provide free, independent and professional advice on planning issues to community groups and individuals who cannot afford to pay a planning consultant. Click here for further information about the work of Planning Aid>>.
