The Havant Core Strategy will set out the Council’s vision for
the spatial development of the Borough over the next 20 years it
will take into account the Community, Cultural, Corporate and
Regeneration Strategies together with a document titled "Towards a
Vision for Havant", produced by consultants. These set out a vision
for a renaissance of the Borough and how it could develop over the
next 20 years to play an important part in the economic
regeneration of South Hampshire.
The Core Strategy is a strategic level document which should
bring together the plans of other bodies which have an impact on
the development of the Borough, for example, water companies,
schools and the NHS.
The Core Strategy will not identify specific development sites
but sets out the broad principles of where development will take
