Hampshire County Council has been working with residents and landowners to find out what people think about local rights of way and other access to the countryside and what should be done to improve them. The result is The Hampshire Countryside Access Plan, which consists of 7 local area plans and a countywide ‘Overview’ document. Each local plan identifies the main issues in a particular part of Hampshire and suggests what should be done to improve access to the countryside in that area. Havant falls with the 'Solent' and 'Forest of Bere' areas.
